| CHAPTER 8: The INCREDIBLE "AMMO" Defense Below is a synopsis of CHAPTER 8. I look at this AMMO Defense like a very good card trick. You see what is happening, you aren't sure how or why, but you know it always works. Quite honestly, the trick is quite simple once you know it, but that trick will blow your mind until you understand it. That is exactly the sense opposing coaches get when they fall victim to the concepts and design of the AMMO Defense. You will find a short description of the INCREDIBLE AMMO Defense below. It's not only successful on the court, but as a Coach, you'll get that psychological advantage over your coaching opponents because you'll challenge their abilities to figure out this great defense. You'll understand better when you receive CHAPTER 8 with your order. I can't emphasize the importance of being committed to the work needed to have everyone understand the non-verbal reads. Like anything successful, it does take lots of practice. It is only successful if all five players on the floor are on the same page making the same reads. Don't worry, the non-verbal reads are well defines and easy to implement. The AMMO Defense is extremely effective and might initially appear to be complicated and difficult to implement, but it is really simple and unbelievably confusing to the opposing teams and opposing coaches. CHAPTER 8 - The INCREDIBLE AMMO DEFENSE will enable you to understand the concept in its entirety and you'll find that the AMMO defense is not only easy to understand and implement, but a defense that'll become part of your program with respect to playing half court "D". Based on some very simple rules predicated upon where, and how, the ball crosses half court, we'll discretely shift into one of three different defenses of which none are what was originally exposed. Don't think this is sitting back into different zones, we get after teams and shift into aggressive half court trapping defenses, but without a word and everyone always on the same page. All the rules are implemented as NON-VERBAL reads which makes it so unbelievably difficult for opposing coaches to comprehend the defense. GOOD LUCK and have FUN driving other coaches CRAZY! |
